1. Question: Do you offer counters with an invisible background ?
Answer: Unfortunately we do not offer counters with an invisible background but we are planning to offer counters with invisible backgrounds in the close future.
2. Question: I've just signed up and waited several minutes but still received no email. What have I done wrong ?
Answer: From time to time there are problems with some email accounts. Please make sure your email address is working and wait a few hours. If you still don't receive anything try signing up again. If you do not receive any email after you have signed up a second time please contact webmaster@counting4free.com.
3. Question: I have received my counter's HTML code but do not know how to insert it. What can I do ?
Answer: Open your website's source code with a usual text editor like Notepad and try to insert the counter where you want it. Your HTML code should look like: <img src="http://www.counting4free.com/cgi-bin/counter.pl?id=##"> (while ## is representing your counter's ID number). Insert this code somewhere within the body tag. This means you should not insert it before <body> and not after </body> on your site's source code.
4. Question: I have created my own set of counter digits. Can you install it for me on my system ?
Answer: We're sorry but we can not offer this service at the moment.
5. Question: Is this service really free ?
Answer: YES, absolutely !
6. Question: Will there be any ads on my page ?
Answer: No, our counters are absolutely free of ads. No banners, no link backs and not even an image tags will be found on your website after installing the counter.
7: Question: I'd like to change the counter's HTML code. Is this allowed ?
Answer: Sure, if you want to edit the counter's HTML code feel free to do this. (However, you are doing this on your own risk).
8. Question: Is it allowed to use the counter on commercial sites ?
Answer: Yes, you can use the counter on commercial sites
9. Question: Is it allowed to sign up for more than one counters ?
Answer: Yes, you can sign up for as many counters as you want but if you are going to use hundreds of counters please ask us for permission first by sending an email to webmaster@counting4free.com.
